Mezze on the Move and Mezze chez Moi are the catering arms of Ghillie’s business. Mezze on the Move caters for corporate clients, whisky experiences and whisky events at her home and in her traditional barn. These are bespoke events and can include an inspirational forage walk and bush cooking. Ghillie also provides this catering service at other remote locations and at corporate venues. Using her expertise as a spice expert she creates unique buffet-style spreads combining the flavours of different culinary cultures with locally sourced ingredients, as well as foraged plants and herbs. Some of these events involve pairing food with whisky. Mezze chez Moi caters for small private parties who want to dine with Ghillie at her home.

For all of The Chivas Masters, the visit to Ghillie’s home was a stand-out highlight of their visit to the UK. Ghillie’s hospitality was awesome and her whole family got involved to make us feel completely welcome in their beautiful home; a totally unique and relaxing spot surrounded by endless space and the rugged beauty of the wild Scottish highlands. Ghillie’s children, Yazzie & Zeki, were as welcoming as the host, effortlessly charming our large group with their personalities, knowledge of the land, unflappable motivation and their inspirational lifestyle. Then there is the food, the variety, quality and flavours were astounding and the biggest challenge was not to keep reloading your plate. This was a truly unique and inspiring experience for all of our guests.
