By converting one of her barns into a practical and cosy cottage, Ghillie
has created an idyllic wilderness retreat within her property. With stunning
views of open moors and hills, it is a perfect place to get away from the stress
and noise of daily life. There is no phone - just the sound of the birds and
plenty of space. You can step out the door and walk into the hills where you
are likely to spot roe deer, hares, grouse and several birds of prey. You can
even lie in bed and observe the stars through the skylight windows and, if
you time your visit right, you will see the magical sight of the northern lights.
Open plan with a wood-burning stove, the cottage is ideal for a couple looking
for solitude and adventure. The sleeping arrangement can be adapted to accommodate
3 good friends or a small family. The cottage is self-catering and includes
a fitness and games room. It is available from the middle of April to the middle
of November
